What technology will the new Jaguar feature?

3D Surround Cameras and ClearSight Rear View Display positioned in the driver’s eye-line, at the base of the windscreen, means that Type 01 drivers will not struggle with visibility, giving them the confidence to enjoy its performance.

The extended instrumentation screen provides touchscreen control of the vehicle settings while a smaller screen positioned on the centre console, provides quick and easy operation of the most frequently used features, such as the heating and ventilation.

Following feedback from our clients, we’ve introduced our most advance voice control technology, allowing all four occupants to use natural voice commands to adjust a whole range of settings or to help navigate directly to the appropriate screen to make detail changes manually.

Jaguar’s stiffest ever body architecture combines with Active Road Noise Cancellation and dual-isolated drive units to significantly enhance cabin refinement.

A full width Panoramic Soundbar, powered by Meridian, runs across the base of the windscreen, creating a wall of sound that’s lifted to a natural listening position. All supported by additional speakers for full audio immersion.

With Sensory Audio, you physically feel the music as well as hear it. Hot stone massage on the front row seats underpins the sensory experience.

A standard switchable panoramic glass roof ensures the cabin is bathed in sunlight, with the virtual sunshade providing shade when required.

Type 01 has a suite of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), which utilises 10 external cameras, five radars and 12 ultrasonic sensors working together to enhance safety, comfort and convenience.

Type 01 features an inteligent digital ecosystem. In-cabin apps, navigation, charging and systems connect seamlessly and it is all supported by remote software updates. Notifications delivered straight to Jaguar App where you can manage cabin pre-conditioning, remote locking and unlocking and access to a vast public charging network.

Type 01 vehicle's interior is a harmony of materials with their own compelling beauty. The interior palette draws inspiration from travertine stone, capturing its layered tones and the play of light and shadow. Complementing the interior palette, three crafted signature anodized finishers run the length of the cabin and are inspired by the natural variation and patina of brass.

The interior follows a reductive approach and is designed to be as intuitive to use as possible.
