MATERIAL DETAIL

Our definition of modern luxury is conscious restraint, where the quietest of materials have been worked and applied in original provocative ways.

An expressive and architectural material, brass is a core inspiration for Type 01's interior elements.

Characterized by a rich authentic patina and warmth, its symbolic presence can be felt throughout the cabin's muted elegance.

Furniture-inspired seating features uniquely shaped cushions, with minimal stitch lines and ingot detailing.

A focus on calmness and serenity

Natural textiles support the layered tactile approach, increasing softness and comfort while augmenting artistry and precision.

The Kvadrat™ DuoWeave upholstery is both innovative and lightweight. Crafted from wool and recycled materials, it features on the floors, lower doors and pillar trims. Pioneering. Enduring.

In contrast

Type 01 is a space where textures and light transcend you into a new emotive place. Chiaroscuro is the contrast of light and shadow and we use this artistic technique to inform the interior's calming tones and exuberant touches of crisp colour. Light on dark and dark on light.
