XF Engines

The XF offers a choice of outstanding engines, from the 5.0L naturally aspirated V8 to two 5.0L Supercharged V8 engines. All of the engines available on the XF feature a refined and responsive 6-speed automatic transmission. For true driver involvement, the 6-speed transmission features a lightning-quick Sequential Shift™ system with steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters. No matter which engine you choose, you are guaranteed an exceptional driving experience.

  The naturally aspirated 5.0L V8 engine features camshaft profile switching and variable camshaft timing, actuated by valve torque rather than oil pressure.
