The 2.0 litre diesel and 2.2 litre diesel S models sport body coloured  grille surround (with chrome inner),  a bright mesh grille with centre mounted Jaguar Growler, satin black side window surrounds and Belize 17" alloy wheels. Inside, Piano Black veneer, leather gear knob and 4x4 way electrically adjustable seats with leather/cloth facings and a twin needle horizontal stitch pattern gives the X-TYPE S a sporty look and feel. Automatic Climate Control with pollen filter and multi-function steering wheel are fitted as standard. Other standard features include: Cruise Control, Bluetooth® Connectivity, trip computer with message centre, rain sensing windscreen wipers, automatic headlamps and Dynamic Stability Control (DSC).

The SE specification is also available with both the 2.0 litre and 2.2 litre diesel engines. The side window surrounds are chrome and the wheels are Barbados 17" alloys. In addition to the SE, Sports suspension and Jaguar Traction4® All Wheel Drive (3.0 litre V6 petrol Estate) and satin black side window surrounds are all included.  Abaco 18" alloy wheels and a rear spoiler (saloon) highlight its sports performance. Inside there are 2-stage heated, 10x10 way electrically adjustable Softgrain leather seats which have memory function with 3 settings for the driver seat and exterior mirrors. A twin needle diamond stitch detailing with contrast stitching and a striking motor sport-style Carbon Fibre veneer complete the look.  Door inserts match the chosen seat trim colour and have a diamond twin needle stitch pattern.

The top of the range X-TYPE Sovereign Saloon and Estate comes with a range of luxury specifications. In addition to the SE, Burr Walnut veneers for the facia and door trims compliment the luxury 10x10 way electrically adjustable contrast piped leather seats with 2-stage heating and driver memory. The horizontal twin needle stitch pattern and the chrome side window surrounds return to this derivative.  Jaguar Premium Sound System is standard and can be controlled - without taking your hands off the Burr Walnut and leather steering wheel - thanks to the Sovereign´s advanced JaguarVoice™ system.
