In the spring of 2009, Paul Gentilozzi and his sons, Tony and John, founded RSR in partnership with Jaguar Land Rover Ltd. to build and race the Jaguar XKR in the American Le Mans Series GT class and to develop aftermarket performance parts for Jaguar cars in North America.

Gentilozzi’s relationship with Jaguar dates back to 2000 when he built and raced Jaguar XKRs in the North American Trans-Am Series. In their tenure together 66 starts were made, 31 of those resulted in team wins with an additional four victories by chassis/customer cars. This led to five Manufacturers’ and five Drivers’ Championships from 2000 – 2006 with Paul Gentilozzi, Scott Pruett and Klaus Graf.

The Jaguar XKR was also entered in the famed 24 Hours of Daytona, where it earned the pole and win in the GTS Class (2002).

    Marc Goossens has joined the 2010 Jaguar RSR team to compete in a full-season American Le Mans Series’ championship. Goossens is originally from Belgium but is currently living in North Carolina as his racing career has lead him to North America. Here are some essential facts about this experienced sportscar driver.

    - Mark began his racing career in go-karts claiming four championship titles and finishing 3rd in the 1989 World Championship.

    - He competed in Formula Ford in 1990 and won the 1991 British Formula Ford Championship as well as the Formula Ford Festival.

    - Competed in the British Formula Three Championship in 1992 and in 1993 finished third in points.

    - From 1994 - 1996 he drove in the FIA F3000 Championship and in the equivalent Japanese Formula Nippon.

    - In between he drove in multiple endurance races and has nine starts under his belt at the 24 Hours of Le Mans.

    - From 2001 - 2006 he regularly competed in the Belcar Championship, winning the title in 2002 and 2005.

    - Starting 2006, he explored new challenges in North America by entering single events in NASCAR Busch Series and NASCAR Nextel Cup.

    - In 2007 and 2008 he competed in the Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series in the Daytona Prototype class.

    - 2008 saw Dalziel grace the top step of the Grand-American Sports Car Series podium for the first time having claimed his first Daytona Prototype victory at California’s Laguna Seca track.     - 2007 saw Ryan compete in the Champ Car World Series, in doing so becoming only the second Scottish driver to compete in the series following in the footsteps of Dario Franchitti.  As a Champ Car rookie, and competing for a team new to the series as well, Ryan had a total of six top-ten finishes from eleven starts made – including leading laps at the Toronto Grand Prix.

    - Ryan’s first-ever career start in the Champ Car World Series, a one-off entry at the 2005 Toronto Grand Prix; he scored a top-ten points paying finish on his debut, ninth overall, despite just one day of testing prior to the race.
