The Jaguar Total Care Programme has been designed to ensure you derive maximum pleasure from, and help protect your investment in, the car you have purchased.
As part of Total Care, Jaguar Extended Warranty provides owners of Jaguar cars with an additional warranty cover similar to the original 3 years manufacturer’s warranty. In Middle East and North Africa, Jaguar XF, XK and XJ have mandatory 2 years' extended warranty.
For X-TYPE, depending on market, there is a choice between an additional 12 months and an additional 24 months cover, extending the total car warranty to 4 years (with maximum of 250,000 kms), or 5 years (with maximum of 250,000 kms), on the basis the vehicle is less than 12 months old from original (new) date of sale, and has a full Jaguar franchise service history.
As an additional benefit, the car will also be covered by Total Care Roadside Assistance throughout the full period of the Warranty Extension.

CAR ELIGIBILITY
All new Vehicles are eligible for Jaguar Extended Warranty, either at the time of new vehicle sale or up to 12 months from original (new) date of sale of the vehicle manufacturer’s warranty. The optional 4th and 5th year warranty can be applied for providing the vehicle is not in excess of 12 months old from original (new) date of sale, has not covered in excess of 250,000 kms, and has a full Jaguar Franchise service history.
Vehicles that have been modified or altered from Jaguar Car’s original specifications are not eligible for cover. The programme also excludes any vehicle that has been severely damaged, or has been subject to a total loss. -
UNDERSTANDING YOUR COVER
Mechanical or Electrical Failure
Means the complete operational failure or internal damage caused by the sudden and unexpected failure of any manufacturers fitted component other than those specifically excluded. Normal deterioration or claims arising as a result of wear and tear are not covered.
Owner
Means the customer named in the Confirmation of Cover letter and the Registration Form.
Geographical Limits
The Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Morocco, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Tunisia, United Arab Emirates.
Limits of Liability
The amount payable in respect of parts and labour for all mechanical and electrical failures occurring during the period of cover shall not exceed the purchase price paid for the covered car.
Period of Cover
The Warranty Extension cover commences as soon as the manufacturer’s warranty expires after 3 years. Depending on the option purchased, the car will be covered by the Warranty Extension for up to 4 years / 250,000 kms from the car’s first Date of Sale (whichever comes soonest), or 5 years / 250,000 kms from the car’s first Date of Sale (whichever comes soonest). The cover applies only to the car described in the Confirmation of Cover letter. You will also receive a Total Care Card as additional proof of Cover.
Servicing
It is a condition of this warranty that the car is serviced and maintained by a Franchised Jaguar Importer or Dealer in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations. -

A maximum allowance of 1 month or 1,600 kms is permitted in excess of the recommended service interval. A record of all services completed during the period of cover must be maintained in the warranty booklet and receipts retained as these may be required in the event of a claim. -
COMPONENTS COVERED
All factory fitted mechanical or electrical components are covered other than service items or components which are expected to require replacement such as, but not limited to: spark plugs, filters, auxiliary drive belts, exhaust systems (including catalytic converter), coolant hoses, batteries (excluding the main vehicle battery), wiper blades and arms, fuses and bulbs (Xenon bulbs will be covered where fitted as a factory standard or factory option), brake shoes, pads and discs.
