XJ Ultimate provides a complete range of entertainment, communication and mobile business connectivity.

  INTEGRATED IPADS

  XJ Ultimate features docking for two iPads integrated into the backs of the front seats and which charge when the ignition is on. The iPads work independently of each other and can be removed from the docking stations for use outside the vehicle. For added convenience there is room to stow an iPad keyboard.

  REAR SEAT ENTERTAINMENT

  The passenger Rear Seat Entertainment is controlled through a compact Touch-screen unit that stows in the centre console when not in use.  The system includes optional WhiteFire® digital wireless headphones. Two screens embedded in the headrests of the front seats can display, simultaneous or separate, video content.

  DRIVER AND CAR CONNECT

  The 8-inch Dual View Touch-screen integrated into the facia displays audio, climate and navigation controls for the driver while allowing the front seat passenger to view video on the same screen simultaneously. Bluetooth® connectivity on the move enables telephones with Bluetooth® capability to be connected to XJ Ultimate’s in-built telephone system.

  MEDIA HUB

  At the heart of XJ Ultimate's multimedia functions is a 30GB hard disk drive. As well as holding the car’s sophisticated global navigation system, it can store up to ten CDs of uncompressed music and will connect to audio, video and memory devices – either through its USB connection, an auxiliary jack-plug or Bluetooth®.

  NAVIGATION

  Always know where you are. XJ Ultimate's satellite navigation system is based in the internal hard disk drive, which makes it easier to update and provides lightning fast access to maps and data. It can be effortlessly controlled through the Touch-screen.  It shows information both on the Touch-screen and the virtual instrument panel. As well as giving directions, it offers congestion alerts and alternative routes.  If fuel runs low, it automatically displays details of the closest filling stations.

• CONNECT WITH THE ULTIMATE

  XJ Ultimate’s technology empowers without overpowering. Simple to use yet giving you total control, it offers brief and simple intuitive options to operate every aspect of the car’s multimedia systems.  You can choose a piece of music, take a phone call or ask the navigation system for directions with the same natural ease.
  The principle control panel is a pleasure to use with an intuitive multimedia selection displayed on the beautiful high-definition Touch-screen in the centre console.
  The virtual instruments can also show details of multimedia options: the tachometer is temporarily replaced by alert messages, such as low fuel, or prompts for spoken commands such as a choice of music tracks or phone numbers.
  Using Jaguar’s Interactive Voice system, many multimedia functions can be controlled with simple spoken directions. Specifically designed to minimize the risk of misunderstood commands it works by displaying a list of possible options in the virtual instruments.
  The Steering wheel controls can also operate the multimedia systems – they will switch on Interactive Voice, for instance, and allow the driver to toggle through lists displayed in the virtual instruments, adjust the volume and choose pre-set radio stations.
