Jaguar Hong Kong & ‘The Iron Lady’ Charity Movie Premiere

(Hong Kong – 6 March 2012) Courtesy of Edko Film Limited, Jaguar Hong Kong is delighted to present the Charity Movie Premiere of ‘The Iron Lady’ held on 6 March (Tuesday) at AMC Cinema, Pacific Place, Admiralty.

Jaguar Hong Kong has always been committed to charity initiatives. On that night, Jaguar Hong Kong was exhilarated to be the title sponsor of ‘The Iron Lady’ charity movie premiere benefiting the Rotary Club of Wanchai. Their donation of HKD138,500 will go to the "Tai O Project" undertaken by “Habitat for Humanity”, a project which involves restoring and maintaining stilt houses occupied by the elderly at Tai O in Hong Kong.

Jaguar is used as the official state car and has a long and fame history serving political leaders in Britain. In the movie, Lady Thatcher can be seen making her travel inside a Jaguar. The current Prime Minister David Cameron also enjoys his ride inside the new Jaguar XJ. Jaguar’s close intimate relationship with the British Government is very much part of the British tradition. Therefore, Jaguar appreciates the opportunity to support this charity event.

The premiere night also invited Mr. John Tsang, GBM, JP, Financial Secretary to be the officiating guest to hold the ceremony on stage.
