XK never compromises on luxury. Every aspect is ergonomically designed to enhance the driving experience. Whether crossing town or continent, XK's 2+2 configuration provides rear seats, for occasional use or as a convenient storage area. For additional practicality, Convertible models have a boot capacity of up to 313 litres rising to 330 litres on Coupé models.
Attention to detail is evident throughout XK's cabin. The hand-stitched leather, flawless veneers and contemporary chrome details are all illuminated with Jaguar's signature phosphor blue mood lighting.
ENHANCED INTERIOR CHOICE
A wide choice of colours, materials, trims and veneers gives the XK driver an opportunity for a high level of personalisation. Twenty-one interior colour themes and ten veneers are available depending on the model chosen. Leather is used extensively throughout the cabin and is offered in three grades – Bond grain, soft grain and Carbon soft grain.
LEATHER STEERING WHEEL WITH INTEGRATED CONTROLS
The leather steering wheel houses thumb-operated switches on either side of the centre hub. The switches on the left are used to operate the in-car entertainment system, and the switches on the right operate the cruise control and Adaptive Cruise Control, if it is fitted.
The steering wheel can also be specified to include heating.
The Sports steering wheel is available on all XK models. Trimmed in Jet Suedecloth, it offers extra grip and a further level of sporting luxury. (Not available with Adaptive Cruise Control.)
DUAL ZONE AUTOMATIC CLIMATE CONTROL
The dual zone climate control system incorporates individual cabin temperature control for both driver and front passenger. It is fully automatic, with auto-recirculation, humidity control and automatic window demisting.
The use of the finest materials guarantees that the cabins of all XK models are finished to the most luxurious standards. Leather is used extensively, along with hand-crafted wood veneers and smooth chrome. The interior colour harmony is enhanced with soft-feel paint on the switches around the JaguarDrive Selector™ and the Touch-screen, the brighter paint on the air vents and instrument panel, and the Piano Black finish across the central console. The Jet and Canvas leather headlining has been produced by Poltrona Frau®, a renowned furniture house with long experience of creating premium interiors for the motor industry.
SUPERIOR SEATING OPTIONS
The XK range offers a choice of three styles of seat, all with detailed finishing and a comprehensive array of colour options. Meticulously designed and engineered to be an intrinsic element of the car, they not only hold and support through every turn, they reshape and adjust to tailor-fit your body and ideal driving posture. At the press of a button they instantly recall any individual shape and position preferred by different drivers. The second most complex component in XK, after the engine, the seat designs have been manually tested through 25,000 physical sittings and subjected to five weeks of humidity and temperature extremes to ensure they work perfectly.
- Sports seats are standard in XK and XKR. They are heated, upholstered in Bond grain leather and feature 10-way power adjustment with memory function.
