RESPONSIBLE NEIGHBOURS
THINKING LOCAL
In an effort to maintain good relationships with the people living near our sites, we talk to them regularly about the effects of our operations.
Twice a year, we hold a forum where Jaguar managers meet representatives of the local council and residents' groups. We discuss company plans and listen to their concerns about site development.
We are aware that transporting people and goods to and from our sites increases traffic on local roads, so we try to reduce the impact by using major roads wherever possible.
Our car-sharing schemes for employees at Castle Bromwich aim to reduce commuter traffic, while Halewood runs an annual travel awareness event, providing employees with free information on local travel.
