  • Jaguar has pledged to support the Child’s Voice Appeal and to help raise £1m with a prize competition. The prize will be the first-ever all new XJ production model. Entry to the competition costs £125. Tickets will be sold from October 19th to November 25th at 9PM.

  • All money raised will go to the Child’s Voice Appeal to help pay for an NSPCC Helpline Practitioner to answer calls for an extra 5 hours. In other words, your support could be life-changing for a child in need.

  • Terms and Conditions of the NSPCC Prize Competition:
    1. This competition is open to all UK residents aged 18 or over excluding employees of the NSPCC and Jaguar Cars Limited. Multiple entries are accepted.
    2. The competition will commence on 00.01 BST 19 October 2009 and will close on 21.00 BST 25 November 2009. The prize winner will be selected randomly from all entries containing the correct answers on 26 November 2009. If the winner cannot be contacted within 2 days then the promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner. The winner’s name will be displayed on the NSPCC website on 2 December 2009.
    3. The promoter is unable to contact all entrants to the competition. Only the prize winner shall be notified.
    4. The prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered.
    5. Entry to the prize competition is non-refundable regardless of whether entrants have answered questions correctly or incorrectly.
    6. The winner agrees to take part in all publicity relating to the competition and needs to be available in London Folgate Street on 1 December.
    7. The prize will be the first customer production XJ to leave the production line. The lucky winner will take delivery a full week before the car officially goes on sale with the following specification- Jaguar 3.0 Portfolio which includes one year's road tax and standard manufacturer warranty. The promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative car of equal or greater value in circumstance beyond their control.
    8. Insurance, maintenance and running costs of the vehicle are the responsibility of the winner from the date of their ownership. Appropriate insurance must be in place at time of collection along with photo ID and valid driving licence prior to receipt of the vehicle. The promoter is not responsible for any costs associated with the prize.
    9. By entering the competition entrants confirm that they have read and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and by the decisions of the promoter which are final in all matters relating to the promotion.
    10. The promoter will not be responsible for technical failures or otherwise including any failure which is beyond the control of the promoter or its agencies. The promoter reserves the right to extend, withdraw, alter or suspend this competition for legal or technical reasons without any liability. Any such alterations will be posted on its website as soon as reasonably possible.
