NEW JAGUAR XF TO OFFER BEST-IN-CLASS RESIDUAL VALUES

Industry valuation company KeeResources has predicted the Jaguar XF will retain 41% of its value after three years/60,000 miles - four percentage points higher than the Mercedes-Benz E-Class (37%) and six more than both the Audi A6 and BMW 5 Series (35%).

Insurance ratings for the XF are also lower than those of its rivals. Ratings will start from group 25E which is five groups lower than the equivalent 5 Series, seven better than the A6 and eight better than the E-Class.

Jaguar is also offering a choice of service plans for the XF. Customers opting for the 2.0-litre diesel Ingenium engine (in either 163hp or 180hp power output) can choose either a standard mileage or high mileage package.

According to the Kwik Car Cost data, the XF also has the lowest total cost of ownership of any comparable premium executive saloon. Over three years/60,000 miles, the XF’s total cost of ownership is £3,073 lower than an A6, £4,033 better than a 5 Series and £5,191 better than an E-Class.
