IMPORTING A VEHICLE TO CANADA
Before deciding to import a vehicle to Canada, we encourage you to visit the Transport Canada website and the Registrar of Imported Vehicles’ (“RIV”) website for information regarding the process and cost to import a vehicle to Canada. Both sites provide a link to the "List of Vehicles Admissible from the United States", which provides the specific Canadian vehicle modification and inspection requirements for each manufacturer.
The Federal Regulations governing imports requires, among other things, recall clearance documentation and specific modifications to your Jaguar to comply with the Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Standards.
As stated in the "List of Vehicles Admissible from the United Sates", only an authorized Canadian Jaguar retailer can provide recall clearance documentation and perform the Transport Canada compliance modifications on your vehicle. Any unauthorized modification to your vehicle may void the vehicle’s warranty. Please note that there are charges associated with these modifications and the issuance of recall clearance documentation by an authorized Jaguar Canada retailer. Documentation verifying that this work was completed by an authorized Canadian Jaguar retailer should be kept with the vehicle.

IMPORT VEHICLE INSPECTION
Please be advised that an imported Jaguar is subject to inspection by a Jaguar retailer if the required legal modifications were not performed by an authorized Canadian Jaguar retailer. If any third party modifications are found to be incorrectly made to your Jaguar during the Import Vehicle Inspection, a Canadian Jaguar retailer will need to correct the modification before any warranty work (including Platinum Coverage Maintenance work) will be performed. Please be advised that there are charges associated with the Import Vehicle Inspection and for any work performed by an authorized Canadian Jaguar retailer to correct an improper third party modification.
The authorized Canadian Jaguar retailer will verify, among other things, that the vehicle has not been damaged by flood, fire, major accident, improper storage or transportation of the vehicle and that any unauthorized modifications do not interfere with the vehicle's systems and void the warranty.
Upon completion of the Import Vehicle Inspection, the authorized Canadian Jaguar retailer will provide documentation identifying that the inspection has been performed and that the required vehicle modifications were correctly completed. You should keep a copy of this documentation with the vehicle for future warranty work.
