PANORAMIC ROOF
A panoramic roof accentuates the natural space within the all new XJ. It arches across the top of the windshield to just above the rear seat, allowing light to flood in. Unlike conventional moonroofs, the opening mechanism of the panoramic roof smoothly slides the glass upwards and outwards, rather than down and back, so it does not impinge upon passenger headroom. A dark tint and reflective glass coating help prevent the cabin from becoming too hot under a strong sun and, for extra privacy, twin electric blinds can be closed at the push of a button.

XENON HEADLIGHTS WITH LED SIGNATURE LIGHTS AND POWER WASHERS
Xenon headlights are operated automatically to provide powerful illumination when light levels fall. In a striking design feature, the base of each front cluster includes a strip of bright white LED Signature lights. Headlight power washers are set flush into the front fender so as not to disrupt the XJ's elegant lines.

ADAPTIVE FRONT LIGHTING AND INTELLIGENT HIGH BEAM
With Adaptive Front Lighting, standard on supercharged models and optional on the naturally aspirated XJ and XJL, sensors react to the car's speed and steering, directing the headlamp beams to cast light deeper into corners. The system also provides extra LED corner illumination when maneuvering at low speeds, for example when parking.
Adaptive Front Lighting also includes Intelligent High Beam which is designed to switch headlamps to low beam automatically when oncoming traffic is detected, and switch back to high beam after the traffic has passed. -
BLIND SPOT MONITOR
The Blind Spot Monitor can take much of the uncertainty out of lane changing. Using radar sensors to remotely cover areas adjacent to the car that cannot be seen either using the mirrors, it is designed to alert the driver to overtaking traffic with an amber warning icon in the external mirrors.

REAR CAMERA PARKING AID WITH TOUCH-SCREEN VISUAL DISPLAY
The all new XJ also has a standard new rear camera parking aid which features a rear-facing digital video camera which displays on the Touch-screen. Features include on-screen guidance lines that move according to steering wheel angle, and indicate the predicted area into which the car will reverse.
The rear parking aid uses ultrasonic sensors mounted in the bumper and is designed to detect objects up to 6 feet behind the vehicle. An audible warning system alerts the driver to the proximity of objects sensed by the system, and a display on the center console Touch-screen provide further information on their location in relation to the vehicle. -
FRONT PARKING AID
In addition to the standard rear parking aid, the new XJ is also specified with a similar system for the front of the car. Four sensors are designed to detect obstacles in front of the car and alert the driver with both an audible signal and visual display on the Touch-screen.

LED TAIL LAMPS
The all new XJ's dramatic tail lamps flow horizontally along the car's rear fenders before dropping vertically toward the rear bumper. Viewed from behind, their triangular shape gives a modern interpretation of the tail lamp design of previous XJ models.
Each lamp unit contains 57 individual LEDs which reach full brightness more quickly than conventional bulbs when the brakes are applied. When illuminated, three blades of light in each lamp create a unique night-time signature reminiscent of the claw marks of a cat. -
POWER TRUNK LID WITH CUSTOMIZABLE HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
The trunk lid is opened and closed electronically. It opens with either a single press on the remote key, a switch inside the car or by the external bumper switch. To close the lid you merely press the button inside it. The lid can also be easily programmed to open to your required height.

BRIGHT CHROME SIDE POWER VENTS
Bright chrome side power vents are set into each fender behind thefront wheel. Designed to allow heat to exit the engine bay, they are also true pieces of automotive jewelry. Each features a sculpted, chromed 'ingot' carrying the Jaguar name. A "SUPERCHARGED" motif is also included on models powered by Jaguar's 470 hp supercharged AJ-V8Gen III SC engine and a "SUPERSPORT" motif is featured on models powered by the 510 hp version of the supercharged engine.

WHEEL CHOICES
A range of 19-inch and 20-inch alloy wheels are available, depending on model, in stunning designs unique to the all new XJ. Wider wheels and tires are fitted at the rear of the car, optimizing grip and enhancing the car’s sporting, athletic stance.
