    New fuel injection technology, dual independent Variable Cam Timing and the use of lightweight components mean that Jaguar's 5.0 Litre AJ-V8 Gen III engine combines power and exceptional refinement with remarkable efficiency. Continuously variable valve timing delivers higher levels of torque over a wide range of engine speeds, providing instant throttle response and broad flexibility.

    The engine delivers acceleration from 0-100 km/h in just 5.7 seconds (0-60 mph in 5.4 seconds), while at the same time offering class-leading fuel consumption.

  • New XJ - XJ Supercharger

    5.0 LITRE AJ-V8 GEN III SUPERCHARGED

    The XJ´s all new 5.0 Litre AJ-V8 GEN III features twin air intakes, variable inlet camshaft phasing and a new sixth generation Eaton supercharger to deliver truly outstanding performance. It is available in two power outputs: 470 HP, which is capable of 0-100 km/h in 5.2 seconds (0-60 mph in 4.9 seconds), and 510 HP, which is exclusive to the flagship XJ Supersport model, and can power from 0-100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds (0-60 mph in 4.7 seconds).

    The supercharger also ensures high levels of power are available at all engine speeds, providing instant throttle response, outstanding mid-range acceleration and excellent driveability.
