Now every 2012 Jaguar car is equipped with Winter Mode, so you can drive with confidence all year long. At the push of a button, the engine, transmission and Dynamic Stability Control join forces to deliver maximum traction and increased control. With Winter Mode, you can enjoy the exhilaration of driving a Jaguar no matter what the season.

• JAGUAR WINTER MODE FUNCTIONALITY:

  Engine - Winter Mode helps temper the responsiveness of the engine and modifies the gear change strategy to maintain optimum traction in snowy, icy, or slippery conditions.
  
  Gearbox - When active, Winter Mode selects the 2nd gear for pulling away. This limits torque to the rear tires when accelerating from a stop position.
  
  Dynamic Stability Control - The vehicle performs in a more controlled manner, allowing more confident progress. Each tire progression is monitored through the dynamic stability control system. When slipping is detected, DSC will assist the drive to help maintain control.
