IAN CALLUM EXCITED FOR THE FUTURE AFTER 10 YEARS AT JAGUAR
Jaguar's design director Ian Callum shares his enduring enthusiasm for the brand and hints at future styling goals. He's working on "three or four" new models of unashamedly high-performance luxury cars, but there will also be "smaller Jaguars" to replace the X-type and complement the upcoming XJ.
"It'll be more assertive. It's not enough to be beautiful and soft and discrete. Where Jaguar sat in the '60s with its purity and its beauty, you have to recalibrate that for the world you live in. And the world today is visually very aggressive. Jaguar can't afford to be too subtle."
